What is Halloween?
Halloween, also known as All Hallows’ Eve or All Saints’ Eve, is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31st, primarily in the United States and other Western countries. It has a rich and diverse history, blending ancient traditions with modern customs.
Halloween can be traced back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. Samhain marked the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. It was believed that on the night of October 31st, the boundary between the world of the living and the world of the dead became thin, allowing spirits to roam the Earth.
